Majabi Community

We are members of the Rangretta clans (Hindus who converted to Sikhism) and are mainly found in Punjab, Kashmir and Rajastan. The word "Majabi" is derived from the Arabic term "Mazhab" which literally means "the religious" or "the faithful". Some of our noted community members include Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans and Buta Singh, senior Congress leader and former union home minister.
